Another busy month at TROY group sees the completion of various hotel and leisure projects with some exciting commencements in the student accommodation sector.
The customer experience has been considerably improved at the Travelodge Gatwick Central & Waterloo hotels due to the addition of a new bar cafe which the team completed just a few weeks ago. Great to see positive feedback on the new SuperRooms refurbished earlier at both sites too.

We continue to work with Travelodge on the phased roll-out of their SuperRoom scheme which is now completed at Ealing, Windsor Central and Finsbury Park along with nine snag-free standard hotel rooms refurbished and handed over to management at Milton Keynes. We have recently commenced onsite at Cambridge Newmarket Road and London Cricklewood too.
This month we also completed on a £500,000 6 week coastal chalet refurbishment project for Lakeside Coastal Village. Having worked with Warner Leisure Hotels on previous projects, it was great being back at Hayling Island, Portsmouth.
The TROY team have also carried our various Customer Improvement Works including decoration and bedroom lighting upgrade to hotel rooms at Bangor International Airport, as well as installation of USB sockets, headboard lighting improvements & common area decoration at Heathrow T5.
Making waves in the student accommodation sector
Last year we added Derby University, Nunnery Court (view case study here) to our student accommodate portfolio and we’re delighted to announce we’ll be working with Derby Uni again on another student halls refurbishment project.
New relationships have been forged with Prestige Student Living and IQ Student Accommodation – we should have more detail to share with you in a future newsletter edition.
